Cameron ISD is seeking candidates for the Director of Bands position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Cameron ISD has strong tradition of success at the 3A level. The C. H. Yoe High School Band is a consistent UIL State Marching Contest participant and finalist, TMEA Honor Band Finalist, and ATSSB Outstanding Performance Winner. Most recently, the Yoe Band was named the 2025 TMEA Program Spotlight. Over the past six years, all Cameron ISD performing ensembles have received Sweepstakes at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation.

The band program is supported by a strong booster organization, dedicated admin, and a prideful community.

 

Candidate must have strong leadership skills, strong communication skills and the ability to vertically align an entire band program.  Candidate must have a high commitment to excellence.  Candidate must hold valid appropriate Texas Teaching certificate and pass all background and fingerprint checks.
