Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

·         Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements/training for the assigned subject and grade level

·         Demonstrated competency in the assigned content area

·         Preferred Master’s degree in Art, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in Art

Special Knowledge & Skills:

·         Strong knowledge of art curriculum and instruction

·         Ability to effectively teach and manage student behavior

·         Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

All applicants must pass fingerprinting and a background check.
